Additional Information:  Born Viola Emma Peck in Newark, Vicky, as she was known, grew up in West Orange and lived there until 1986, when she and her husband moved to Leisure Village West. She was married to Norman Duryea for 49 years, who died in 1990, and then to Douglas Cairns for the past 14 years. She was active for many years at St. Cloud Presbyterian Church in West Orange, and in the organizing committee for West Orange High School reunions. She was known for her many and long-lasting friendships, her service to those in need, and her abiding faith.
