Occupation: After 32 years of employment as a Foreman with the West Orange Traffic Division.
Veteran Info: As a Pvt. 1st Class, he served in the "A" Battery of the 633rd Field Artillery Battalian with the Fifth Army in Italy. The Battalion made history, shooting the first cannon on European land and battling for 306 consecutive days out of 500 in actual combat. "Rocky", known by his friends and family was awarded 6 medals, with 2 Battle Stars and was honorably discharged on Nov. 6, 1946. After his discharge, he joined the Merchant Marines from 1948-1950.
Additional Information: He volunteered his time to his community after retiring and was a proud member of the American Legion Post # 528 and the West Orange Elks.
