Filomena  De Santis, 96 , died  May 15, 2011 in  House of the Good Shepherd, Hackettstown, NJ.  Filomena lived in  Hackettstown, NJ all of her life and was born in Hackettstown, NJ on October 11, 1914.

Occupation: Miss De Santis was a Music Teacher and taught in the Denville School System for 20 years and also the Mansfield School System. She also taught music as a civilian in Germany for the Air Force for 2 years.

Additional Information:  Miss De Santis was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church of the Assumption; graduate of Hackettstown High School, Class of 1932; received a Teachers Certificate in 1934; received a B.S. in Music from Columbia University and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Seton Hall; she gave a recital on May 15, 1934 at Columbia University; she enjoyed traveling around the world.
