Additional Information: He attended the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art; attended the New School of New York City and attended the Rockport Art School in Massachusetts; while living in Hawaii he received numerous awards from the Honolulu Academy of Fine Arts, The Honolulu Print Makers Assoc. and the Hawaian Artist Assoc. Some of his works are still on display at the Newark Museum and the New Jersey State Museum at Trenton State College. He was the recipient of the New Jersey L. Bamberger Gallery Award. Joseph and Adolph Konrad were friends for 54 years; He was featured at the Hunterdon Museum of Art for a 50 year retrospective of his work in 1998; He also traveled extensively.
