John D. Naughright, IV, 97 , died  peacefully on 03/31/11 in  Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ.  John lived in  Long Valley, NJ all of his life and was born in his Naughright, Long Valley, NJ home on 02/21/14.

Occupation: John was the owner of John D. Naughright Real Estate for 25 years; he received his Masters Degree in Business Administration from New York University and completed the documentation for his doctorate; he was also a teacher for 25 years

Veteran Info: He proudly served in the United States Navy during WW II

Additional Information:  A humble and private man who'd never boast. He loved God, life, friends and family most. John found friendships and comfort as a longtime parishioner of Our Lady Of The Mountain R.C. Church; John was past president of the West Morris Central Board of Education which built West Morris Central High School and in lieu of payment, Naughright Road was named in his honor. When asked, what he did in life, he'd always respond...in WW II I was a navigator and ship radio operator aboard the USS De Grasse, I was a teacher 25 years, was in real estate 25 years and goofed off over 25 years golfing, flying his planes (up until his 90th birthday)and 10 am ham radio everyday.
