Anita L. Brydon, age 93, of Hackettstown died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Heath Village, Hackettstown, NJ. She was born January 13, 1920 in Summit, NJ. She is the daughter of the late John F and the late Genevieve (Kenny) Loderick. Anita was also predeceased by 3 brothers; John, Clifford, Stuart Loderick and her former husband the late Robert W. Brydon.  
 
Anita was a graduate of the All Souls Nursing School of Morristown, NJ class of 1942. She worked as a Registered Nurse for The Prudential Insurance Company, Newark, NJ for many years before retiring. She was a member of St. Mary's of the Assumption R.C. Church, Hackettstown and she loved her NY Mets.
 
She is survived by 2 sons; Robert W. Brydon, Jr. and wife Kathleen, Dennis Brydon, 5 daughters; Kathleen Ryan and husband Robert, Judith Esposito and husband James, Elizabeth Pizzuti and husband Charles, Mary Anita Sutton, Denise Lovenberg and husband David and; 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  
 
The funeral will be held 11 am on Wednesday, February 27 at St. Mary's Church Of The Assumption, 305 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Father David Pekola officiating. Burial will follow at St. Theresa Cemetery Mausoleum, Summit, NJ.
 
Viewing hours will be Tuesday, February 26 from 4-8 pm and Wednesday, February 27 a hour prior to church services at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.
 
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial & Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 in memory of Anita.

Dear Dennis, Denise, Bobby, Mary, Bette, Kathy, and Judy, My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Your Mom was a huge part in my childhood and life and I feel fortunate to have had her in my life. What she showed me was the Love she had for raising all of you with that same love inside. You are a Very special family that I cherish to have in my life and heart. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in this difficult time. Danielle, your grandmother was a sweet and wonderful woman. I am grateful to have been invited to many of your family celebrations and received the opportunity to get to know her. She will be fondly remembered in our hearts. Love to you all.

Bobby and family... Myself and Marie are so sorry to hear about the lost of your mother...I have not seen her in years,but i do remember her being a wonderful woman....she is at peace now and out of pain and in a much better place...i hope the family is at peace now also...hang in there and hope to talk to you soon.....Ken and Marie.....

Grandma you will be missed! So glad Hannah got the chance to know you. Sad that Alexis won't get that opportunity, but happy she did get the chance to meet you. We love you and hope you are finally at peace. You were a great woman.
