Corinne Kay (Wilson) Cook, 75, of Hackettstown, NJ, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018, at Hackettstown Medical Center.
Corinne was born on January 16, 1943, in Rockport, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Elmer F. and Helen P. (McCormick) Wilson.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. For 37 years, Corinne was an in-home child caregiver. She enjoyed spending time with her family, baking cookies and pies for the holidays, as well as crocheting and camping. Corinne was an active member of the Hackettstown community for 47 years, and she was loved and respected by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Corinne is survived by her husband of 57 years, Frank J. Cook; 2 sons, Gregory J. Cook and wife Shari of Blakeslee, PA, and Scott A. Cook and wife Jeannine of Higgins Lake, MI; and 1 daughter, Laurie A. Hills and husband Stephen of Succasunna, NJ; 8 grandchildren, Heather Cook; Kevin Cook and wife Chelsea; Kayla Hill and husband Dave; Kacey Grabinski and husband Chris; Lucas Cook; and Joseph, Sarah, and Michael Hills; 2 great-grandchildren, Brody and Charlotte; as well as several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown NJ 07840 from 11am-1pm. Services to begin at 11:15 am. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 30105-1942 in memory of Corrine (stjude.org). So sorry to hear of Corrines passing. She watched my children 30 years ago. I also was her hairdresser for years. Its a tough time now, around the holidays, I know because i just lost my Dad. We just have to remember the good times we had with them, God bless
