I really enjoyed being with your mom. She was so sharp and funny. I wish I had known her longer. She was quite amazing and my heart goes out to you in your loss. You were very lucky to have her for so long and she was lucky to have you as a son. You were a loving, kind and generous son to her. Who could ask for more? Sending love and light to you and Carlos and Elijah.

My love to you and your extended family at this time of loss. I'd like to add to the obituary that I remember Bonnie as an avid cook, collector of cookbooks...and that she gave me hell one time I helped in the kitchen as a teen and removed the seasoning from her cast iron pans! She served on the alter guild at church for years...decades? Every confirmation she would make the confirmands a 3 dimensional lamb-of-god cake, such a labor of love! She and your Dad were the original "Green Acres" couple moving to their little farm in VT from the city and raising goats...and YOU Howie. In recent conversations she impressed me as being a progressive thinker, and loving, accepting person. A fiercely independent person who will be greatly missed. X0
