 Josephine Garone, 97, of Hackettstown, NJ passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019. Josephine was the daughter oh the late Edward and Rose Cicio. In addition to her parents, Josephine was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, John G. Garone. Also preceded in death by her brother Charles Cicio and Sister, Marie Witkowski.   

Josephine lived in Maspeth, NY most of her married life and moved to Hackettstown in 2014 and lived in Bentley Commons at Paragon Village Assisted Living. 

She was a fantastic cook and loved to bake - a wonderful home maker. She loved to entertain and enjoyed the company of others. She was a very thoughtful, compassionate person. 

Josephine is survived by her children John M. Garone and Joanne Sarisky. 

The Memorial Service will be held 4:30 pm on Wednesday, June 5 at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Father Antony Arockiadoss officiating. 

Entombment at Union Cemetery is private.

A Memorial visitation will be Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 1 - 5 pm at Cochran Funeral Home,  905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.

For those desiring, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Greater New Jersey Chapter, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834 in memory of Josephine.
