John "Jack" C. Crofcheck
Died: Sep 9, 2013
Retired for several years, Jack was employed by Picatinny Arsenal of Rockaway, N.J. as a Program Manager specializing in Employee Assistance and was once honored by the federal government having received the Mid Atlantic Territory "Federal Employee of the Year".
He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served a total of six years. He was a member of Musconetcong Lodge #42 F & A.M. , Budd Lake, N.J.; Blue Ridge Post #164 American Legion, Hackettstown, N.J.; the Disabled American Veteran Association, The Picatinny Rod & Gun Club, Rockaway, N.J. and A Life Member of the NJ Fraternal Order of Police.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Gagas Crofcheck at home, two daughters, Helen (Gary) Moore of Lake Hopatcong, N.J. and Rita Decker of Newton, N.J. A brother, James Crofcheck of West Hazelton, Pa. and a sister, Geraldine Babbish of Freeland, Pa. Six loving Grandchildren, Jeanette, Michael, Sarah, Billy, Gary and Samantha, as well as Four Great Grandchildren.
A memorial visitation and service will be held at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. on Friday, September 13, 2013 from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 with services beginning at 8:00pm. Interment will be private.
In Lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in honor of Sarah Decker, Jack's grandaughter, to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Make a Wish America, Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 6062, Albert Lea, MN., 56007-6662. www.wish.org.
