I did not know Betty personally, but met her through her Panther Valley Crafts group, of which my sister, Carolyn Toale, and mother, Nan Amato, are members. She was such a lovely lady and I am very sad for you and your family. She was extremely brave and did not give up easily. She loved her children and grandchildren so much, and talked about them often. Please accept my sympathy during this difficult time. Sincerely meant, Joan Chiaravalloti

I was sorry to read of Betty's passing. Betty and I grew up together in Indian Lake and went all through grammar and high schools together. Sympathies to the family.
