Janess Ashley Kenia, 32 of Vienna, NJ passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015 at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ. Born August 1, 1983 in Hackettstown, NJ, Janess was the daughter of H. Michael Kenia & Marie Cummins Kenia.
Janess has been a lifelong resident of Vienna. A very talented artist and outgoing spirit, Janess had studied Art Design and Fashion while at Morris County Community College.
In addition to her mom and dad, Janess is survived by her loving sister, Jessica Kenia of Collingswood, NJ; Grandparents Henry & Marlene Kenia of Hackettstown and Jeanne Cummins of Vienna, NJ. In addition, Janess was loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and her boyfriend, Jonathan Roessler.
Visitation and funeral services will be on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 4:00 to 6:30pm at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High St., Hackettstown, NJ, 07840 with the funeral service beginning at 6:30pm. We have learned of the loss of your dearly beloved daughter Janess from our daughter Lorri. We wish to extend our sincere, heartfelt sympathy to the Kenia & Cummins families at this most sorrowful time. Janess was only 2 when Lorri & Jessica were in kindergarden, having play sessions at each others homes. Many years have past but I can still see her standing beside her Mom or the girls in the kitchen of your home.
She will be forever in your memories and your hearts. Find comfort in sharing those memories with family and friends. Seek comfort and peace in knowing that Janess is now resting calmly and peacefully with the Lord. Janess & her family will be in our prayers.
