Robert C. Cooke, age 84, of Hackettstown, NJ died Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Arden Courts, Whippany, NJ. Robert was born September 27, 1934 in Washington, DC to the late Herman and Betty Ann (Crane) Cooke.
Robert was previously employed by Blair Academy, Blairstown, NJ as an English Teacher, prior to that he was the Headmaster of Wilson School, Mountain Lakes, NJ for 27 years. He was a former member and officer for the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools and loved magic.
Robert is survived by his wife: Sharon (Love) Cooke, his daughter, Beth Attig and husband Chris, and a granddaughter, Catherine Wyland.
Services are private. A burial will be held at a later date at Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Dear Mrs Cooke and Beth:
Sorry for this late entry but I wanted to give my condolences to you both. I was in the Class of 1972 at Wilson and the beneficiary of Mr. Cooke’s tenure as headmaster and English teacher extraordinaire. My favorite two words of his (which I still use) are “veritable bonanza” !!!

It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of our Brother, Robert C. Cooke. We wish for him everlasting life and well-deserved peace as a member of the Chapter Eternal of Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity.
