John Ford Jakobsen, age 41, of Lower Mt. Bethel, Pa, died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at home. Mr. Jakobsen was born August 18, 1970 in Newton, NJ. He is the son of Linda Carpenter Jakobsen formerly of Hackettstown, NJ the late John H. Jakobsen.

He was self-employed for many years.
John enjoyed spending time with his family, always making himself available to those who needed him. He will be forever remembered by his friends and loving family.

He is survived by; his mother Linda (Carpenter) Jakobsen;
his beloved companion and best friend - Little Girl;
A sister Melissa Walge and her fiance William Groff;
A brother Eric Ayer and his wife Jennifer;
His nephews: Jakob Groff, J.T. Walge and his wife Kimberly, Bernard J. Walge, III and his fiancee Carmella Bruschetta;
His nieces: Ashlee Walge and her fiance Septembio Garo; Nancy Stelling and her husband Bobby; Alyssa, Kali and Morgan Ayer.
Great Nieces and Nephews: Landen, Cooper and Theodore Walge; Remington and Buck Garo and Marcus Ayer.

The funeral service will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, March 15 at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. Cremation Private.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, March 14 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J.
