Dear Mrs. Shaw (Barbara),
I am so sorry for your loss. I only met your husband in jury duty for a very short period. I remember he said his wife was a kindergarten teacher, and when I verified a few more facts, I realized you had been my teacher. I have very happy memories of you and that time, and as I talked to him about this, he was very proud of you. I remember thinking he was such a nice, kind, pleasant man, and I was very happy that you two were together. I have since gone into health care, but I still have vivid memories of you showing us the eggs in the robin’s nest outside the window and taking us outside to look at frogs in the little pond (or puddle).
I hope that your memories of him will give you some comfort.

I was saddened to read this news about Ron.
I hope the family can find peace.
I lived next to Ron for almost 40 years and he was not
just a great neighbor but a wonderful person.

Dear Mrs. Shaw, Kim, Ron and Robert,
I was so sorry to hear from my Mom and sister Jen of your husband/father's passing.
I have fond memories of hanging out at your house in my youth and the conversations I had with Mr. Shaw.
I truly believe that his running is what first inspired me to take up running, which I did in High School, college and still do to this day.
I will be praying for each of you and look forward to when we can see each other again.
Love,
-Chris

Aunt Barbara and Uncle Ron is how we always knew you when we were together at Toby and Grants. These last few years have not been kind. Words cannot express how sorry we were to hear of his passing. You and family are in our prayers. You know I work for a church and have added his name and family to our weekly prayer list, even though we are not meeting in a building right now, we are meeting on line.
