Silvio V. Monsorno
Silvio V. Monsorno, age 94, of Green Township, NJ died Sunday, June 5, 2016. Silvio was born March 4, 1922 in Durango, CO. He is the son of the late Vito and the late Maria (Tomasi) Monsorno.
He served in the Army during World War II from 1942 to 1945. He was employed as an Electrician for his career. He was pre-deceased by his wife Frances Monsorno in 2007.
He is survived by His daughter Diana Laukaitis and her husband William. One son Richard V Monsorno and his wife Jomarie. He is also survived by six grandchildren, William, Melody, Gina, Brigette, Richard and Jason, and by six great grandchildren, Evangelynn, Christiana, Robert, Cailyn, Michael and Joseph.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, June 9 at St. Lawrence RC Church, in Sayville, NY. The burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram NY on Thursday, June 9, 2016 immediately after the funeral Mass.
