Dear Bob, Kim, Bob and family:
Memories flooded back when I heard of Ruth's death-Mr. and Mrs. winter meeting on Best Farm-the big sled ending up on Rt. 46 despite an 8 foot berm, Christian Womens luncheons in Morristown, Our kids in Life Anew and the trips to Word of Life each winter. Age has kept us from seeing you as much as we would have liked, but memories remain. May the Lord of all comfort be your portion at this time of mourning. Our love to you all

To the family of Mrs. Ruth Best:
My thoughts and prayers are with you all on the loss of your wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. I lived in Mansfield Township and traveled Rusling Road twice a day. We shopped often at the original stand after first moving to the area in 1980, watched the new one be built and then my son, Scott Munro, went to work for Brian for several years while going to college. I will never forget Ruth's smile and the twinkle in her eyes as she greeted you and helped you with your purchases. Prayers of comfort and peace to all with my condolences for your loss.

Dear Mr. Best, Bob and Kim - It was in great sadness that we read yesterday of Mrs. Best's passing. Tim well remembers the great times he had growing up in Hackettstown and attending youth group events "on the farm" - especially sleigh riding and spaghetti with hot cider. The generosity and hospitality of Mrs. Best was always obvious to those of us truly blessed to know her. Our prayers are that the Lord will comfort you and your families during this time of trial, and that you can rest in the assurance and hope of Him. Love, Tim and Theresa Wallace, NC.

Dear Bob Kim & Bob Jr,we were more than friends-we were like family. Ruth as a child walked with her family members from the Schwanda farm to my grandfathers farm in Pleasant Grove (about 4 miles) Usually a member of my family would drive them home. Ruth & I were like brother & sister! We have done many fun things with the Best family & we offer our prayers & deepest condolences to you all!
