Maria Valdivia Cavallone was born December 29, 1929 in Lima, Peru.
 
She came to the United States in 1963, and by the end of the year met, and soon after, married the love of her life, Luis Cavallone. 

They were happily married and together celebrated their 55th anniversary this past Thursday.

She had two sons, Mario and Carlos, whom she loved more than life itself and to whom she endlessly endowed the wisdom of her years. We will be forever grateful.

Mario and Carlos married Jenny Gould and Annette Machin, respectively.

The two boys and their wives gave Maria six grandchildren - Nicolas, Sophie, Sara, Gabriella, Charlotte, and Genevieve whom she adored.

She loved gardening and traveling with her husband. She wishes she would have done more traveling when she was younger, and would always tell people if they want to do something, don't wait. She will be sorely missed and will forever be in our hearts.
