Ruth B. Hoh, 94, of Paragon Village, Mt. Olive, NJ, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014. Ruth was born in February, 1920 in Cheviot, OH, the daughter of Joseph H. and Regina (Schaible) Bross.
A long time resident of New Providence, NJ, Ruth and her late husband Bob retired to Arizona for 20 years. They returned New Jersey in 2003 to be nearer to family. As a charter resident of Paragon Village upon its opening, she served years as an officer of its residents’ council.
A much loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Ruth’s wit, wisdom and guidance will be greatly missed by daughters Patricia (John) Ward and Mary (David) Crooks; sons Robert (Louise), John (Sallie), Steven (Nancy), Peter (Beth) and Michael (Shelia); 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, many of whom were able to visit her in her final weeks.
A funeral mass is scheduled for 10:30 AM on October 18th at St. Jude Thaddeus Church in Budd Lake with burial on October 20th next to her beloved husband at Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery near Wrightstown, NJ
