George Landiak, 91, of Hackettstown, NJ and formerly of Allamuchy Twp., NJ passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017. Born in Hackettstown, George was the son of the late Paul & Anna Kurylo Landiak. A retired Brick Layer and Stone Mason, George was employed by Union Local #1 of Washington, NJ for many years. Mr. Landiak served our country in the United States Army Air Corp. from 1953 to 1955 during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Hackettstown First Presbyterian Church. An expert fisherman, George was a former member of the Knee-Deep Club of Lake Hopatcong in New Jersey. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 yrs., Dorothy Dellicker Landiak of Hackettstown, NJ. One son, Gary Landiak of Lebanon, PA. Two brothers, Paul Joseph Landiak of Walnutport, PA & Emmett Landiak of Hackettstown, NJ. One sister, Helen Proto of Las Vegas, Nevada. He is also survived by his beloved grandson, Kyle Landiak of Middletown, PA and a brother and sister in law, Daniel & Barbara Yankiv of Hackettstown, NJ; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Viewing hours will be on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 10:00am to 11:00am at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ. 07840. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am in the funeral home. Interment will take place at the Union Cemetery, Hackettstown, NJ. After services there will be a gathering for the family at the House of the Good Shepherd. For those that have no trouble walking, park in the upper (first) lot, there are some handicap spaces at the second and lower parking areas. There is another gathering that day and it is advisable to take the first available spaces in the first and second parking areas.

Robin and I are so saddened to hear of Mr. Landiak's passing and I fear we have no words that will provide any comfort, so please know we are praying our FATHER in Heaven will provide the Comfort only HE alone can.
