John Mirtich

John Mirtich, age 73, of Long Valley, NJ died Friday, May 29, 2015. John was born
June 10, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late John and Claire Mirtich.
He served in the US Navy on the USS Intrepid during peacetime. He was employed by Morris County of the East Hanover, NJ office as a Welder for many years before retiring. John enjoyed hanggliding, scuba diving, swimming, tennis, biking and windsurfing. He loved being on the water and boating.
He is survived by his wife: Marlene J. (O'Holla) Franey Mirtich, 1 sister; Connie DiLorenza and husband Joseph, 3 nephews; Christopher, Anthony and John, 7 great nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2-4 on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ. Cremation was private.
For those desiring, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of John.
