Margaret C. Smith, age 74, of Hackettstown, NJ died Monday, March 5, 2012 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center of Hackettstown, N.J.. Margaret was born April 6, 1937 in Hackettstown, N.J.. She is the daughter of the late Charles and Eleanor (Swisher) Barabas. She was pre-deceased by her husband, the late Melvin Smith (1973)And Her Companion the late Albert Kishpaugh (1996)

She was employed by the Hackettstown Board Of Education as a Cafeteria Aide for 32 years, retiring 8 years ago.
Margaret lived in Hackettstown all of her life. She was a very active member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Hackettstown American Legion, Blue Ridge Post # 164. She was a graduate of Hackettstown High School.

She is survived by 1 Son-Melvin Smith, Hackettstown, NJ; 2 Daughters-Ann Bell, Great Meadows, NJ; Lisa Smith-Wilks, Carbondale, PA.; 1 Brother-Charles Barabas, Vienna, NJ; 1 Sister- Patricia Young, Union, NJ; 5 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.



A funeral service will be held 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J.

Calling hours will be Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 4:00pm-8:00 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J.07840
