She was previously employed by AT&T as an Office Manager retiring many years ago. Barbara graduated from Pennsylvania State University and was an active member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Hackettstown, NJ.
She is survived by her loving brother, Fred Fels.
A graveside burial will be held at Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 1 pm with the Rev. Tim Thomson-Hohl officiating.

Words fall sadly short when expressing sympathy for the passing of a friend or loved one. Barbara lived a dynamic life that touched on untold numbers of people, mine being just one of them. For me Barbara was a true friend. She was generous, caring and supportive. The many times we shared together not only brightened my days but made me a better person. She was a proud and proper person always ready to listen. Her move to AT&T and my marriage caused us to loose touch, but thankfully we had one last weekend together in good old Hackettstown a couple of years ago. We laughed and reminisced about our younger selves and I will miss her. Barbara was truly a great friend.
