He served proudly in the US Army and the US Naval Reserves and was previously employed by Kmart, Hackettstown, NJ as their Shipping/Receiving Supervisor.  Claude was an avid collector of Blue Grass Music and was a former member of the American Legion, Belvidere, NJ 

He is survived by his devoted wife, Carolyn (nee-Lible) Eroh, his loving son, Claude III and wife Kathleen Eroh, and his brother, Raymond Eroh.

Visitation will be held at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 on Monday, January 6, 2020 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at 11 am.

Burial will be in Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows following services.
