Daniel Thomas Rotondo, 45, of White Township, NJ died at Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington, NJ on October 27, 2013. Born in Morristown, NJ on August 28, 1968 to Joan (Burd) Peterson and the late Lawrence J. Rotondo. He is survived by his wife, Sherri L. (Baldwin) Rotondo.
Daniel lived in White Township, NJ since 1994 coming from Great Meadows, NJ. He was a graduate of Hackettstown High School, Class of 1986; he was the operator of Arbor Solutions of NJ, Oxford, NJ. Daniel was a Certified Tree Expert and was an I.S.A. Certified Arborist; he was a "Tree Hugger"; was past president of the Hunterdon Rotary Club; Daniel was a loving and devoted father to Lexi and Danny.
In addition to his wife Sherri, Daniel is survived by two children, Daniel A. and Alexis M. Rotondo; his mother Joan & husband John Peterson; four brothers, Larry & wife Debbie Rotondo, FL; John Peterson; Ryan Peterson; Todd & wife Samantha Peterson; two nieces and 4 nephews; Sherri's parents, Gail & husband Ron Bell and George & wife Mary Baldwin.
Visitation will be on Sunday, November 3, 2013, 2:00 - 5:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High St., Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 11:30 at the Cochran Funeral Home. Interment will be in Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows, NJ. 07838.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Rotondo Children's Education Fund, C/O Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High St., Hackettstown, NJ 07840.

I am so sorry to hear about your husband. Dan was the Bartlett Tree Representative for the Commons at Lebanon. He worked very closely with our Grounds Committee and taught us so much about our trees and how to care for them. Because of Dan, many of our beautiful trees survived the digging of a large drainage ditch and are doing well to this day. He will be missed.

Dawn and I send our condolences on behalf of the Belvidere Shade Tree commission for Dan's untimely passing. Dan was our friend, and loyal confidant. He was incredibly generous with his knowledge and wisdom of our environment. He supported our commission and lent countless hours teaching and advising us on the science of trees. Most of what we have learned came directly from Dan. We will miss him and pray for his family and friends.
