Linda Resotko Savino, age 57, of Green Township, NJ died Thursday, August 9, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born July 3, 1955 in Paterson, NJ. She is the daughter of Joseph and Ethel (Ruffing) Resotko.

Linda was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Newton, NJ; she received her B.A. in Education (Home Economics) from Montclair State University, Montclair, NJ.; in addition to her employment with the Roxbury Board of Education as a Home Economics and Child Care teacher, she also enjoyed Dog Training and showing Shelties as well as bringing her dogs to hospitals as therapy dogs.

She is survived by her husband: Dominick Savino; 2 sons, Michael & Allison Savino, Germantown, MD and Christopher Savino, Philadelphia, PA; 1 brother, Joseph Resotko, Garfield, NJ; 1 sister, Lisa & Jeff Kruk, Schwenksville, PA; She also has one grandchild, Marley Jean;  and her Parents, Joseph & Ethel Resotko, Hamilton Square, NJ.

The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Christ Episcopal Church, Newton, NJ. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery, Andover, NJ following the Funeral Service.
