Victoria L. Tanczos, 22, of Independence Township, NJ died on October 14, 2013 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center. Born in Morristown Memorial Hospital on October 3, 1991 to Tibor and Lore (Hebel) Tanczos.

Victoria lived all of her life in Independence Township, NJ and attended Grace-The Church On The Mount in Netcong, NJ.  She loved to swim and was a member of the Sea Dragons of Hackettstown, NJ and the Belvidere Barracudas for many years; was an avid reader and writer. 

She is survived by her parents, Tibor and Lore Tanczos, a sister Kristina, her maternal grandmother, Rosina Hebel, aunts Irma Klee and Heidi Alessio; uncle Otmar Hebel and cousins Shanna, Alyssa, Adam, Chris, Michael and Erik.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18, 2013, 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High St., Hackettstown, NJ 07840.

The Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2013, at 11:00 AM at Grace-The Church On The Mount, Rt. 46 East, Netcong, NJ 078857.

Interment will be in Pequest Union Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Great Meadows, NJ 07838 following the Funeral Service.

We understand how painful it is to go through this time of separation. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family. I still remembering the first time I meet Victoria and Kristina at my parents pool(Mattison)for swim lessons. Then we meet up again on the Belvidere Swim team. My daughters loved swimming with Victoria. Mark, Kris,Kimberly and Brianna
