 Jakob Wittwer, age 93, of Hackettstown, NJ died Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Paragon Village, Mount Olive Township, NJ.  Mr. Wittwer was born September 30, 1924 in Gertianosch, Romania. He is the son of the late Nikolas and Elizabeth (Ruh) Wittwer.  In addition to his parents Jakob is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara and his brother, Adam 

He was previously employed by Wayne Board Of Education, Wayne, NJ as a Custodian. Jakob loved gardening and farming, he especially enjoyed making his own wine, sauces and jellies.

He is survived by 2 daughters,  Edeltrud "Trudy" Odeh and husband Sami, Barbara Devlin and husband Thomas, 2 sons, Jack Wittwer and wife Teresa,  Walter Wittwer and wife Karen, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and a sister in law, Anne Wittwer.
