Joseph K. Szumski, 97, of Oxford, NJ passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015. Born March 4, 1918 in Scranton, Pa., Joseph was the son of the late William & Kamilia Milewicz Szumski. Mr. Szumski has previously lived in Hope, NJ and Mt. Bethel, NJ.
Joseph retired from EMCO Plastics in Belvidere, NJ many years ago. Prior to working at EMCO, he worked most of his adult life as a dairy farmer.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Grace Rollison Szumski. One son, Joseph Szumski and his wife Patricia of Independence Twp., NJ.
Funeral services were private under the direction of the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High St., Hackettstown, NJ, 07840. The interment took place at the Hope Cemetery, Hope, NJ. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.cochranfuneral.com
