Thomas E Tell, age 80, of Hackettstown died Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Karen Ann Quinlan home for hospice of Newton, NJ.  Thomas was born January 3, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Edward and the late Dorothy Alice (Kelly) Tell.   

He served in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1959.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Reiss) Tell, one daughter KellyAnn Tell, one son and daughter in law, Thomas and Arletta Tell, one brother and sister in law, Gary and Jessica Tell, three sisters , Jacqueline, Arlene, Marilyn and her husband Dennis Macksoud, three grandchildren, Thomas, Caitlin, and Nicole, and In Laws, Roslyn and Frank Masiello.


The funeral will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. 07840 at 10:00am with Father Joseph Good officiating.  Burial will be in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton N.Y. on Thursday, October 11, 2018.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. 07840.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice Charitable Foundation, 99 Sparta Avenue, Newton, NJ 07860.

Watching you suffer these last months has been torture Fir me. I prayed everyday fir your recovery but God had other plans for you. I am glad you are at peace Daddy, but my heart is broken.
