I was sad to hear the news of Steve's passing. I new Steve in my youth when you lived in Kirkland, Quebec. I think the street was Andre Brunet. I have some fond memories of Steve. He was a very nice person. My condolences to the family and all who knew him....Don Charlesworth.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss, all of our loss'. I met Steve over the summer on the course where he was truly in his element. He and I rode together in a cart and developed an instant rapport and friendship. I continued to see and speak with Steve in the environs of work at Congoleum, to which my company was a supplier. I communicated with him after his surgery and we had planned on having lunch as of our last communication in early March. During my brief relationship with Steve I became very fond of him; he even invigorated my interest in my work as I saw him, and myself and others in our field, to be the next generation of the industry. I will certainly miss him. My heartfelt sympathies go out to your entire family! Best, Bob Brandes
