Phyllis I. Greene, age 87, of Mansfield Township, NJ died Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at St. Clares Hospital, Denville, NJ. Phyllis was born May 12, 1925 in England. She is the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Rogers) Ethelston. She was predeceased by her husband, Hugh L. Greene in 1988.

She was a loving and devoted Homemaker. Phyllis lived in Mansfield Township, NJ for 52 years coming from Paterson, NJ.
Phyllis enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She shared unconditional love. She was the quintessential grandmother.

She is survived by two sons, Hugh Greene and Geoffrey & his wife Lisa Greene; two daughters, Norma James and Phyllis Matthews; two sisters, Joyce Northcott and Eileen Ethelston; 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren; three late brothers, Eric, William And Geoffrey Ethelston.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Friday, September 28, 2012 at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. Burial will be in Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows, NJ

Calling hours will be Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J..
