She was employed by University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ (UMDNJ), Newark NJ as a Director of Admissions. She received her Masters degree in Public Health from UMDNJ and BS from Farleigh Dickinson. Martha was very active in the Newark Community, helping to setup the first AIDS facility in Newark. She also worked with the Sercret Service whenever the President was in the area. She will be greatly missed by her family.
She is survived by 1 daughter; Medina Nogueras and husband Edgardo, Sr., 2 sons; Anthony DeMarcky and wife Lynn and Stephen DeMarcky and wife Johnna; 1 brother Steven Andrews; 7 grandchildren: Sarah, Melissa, Edgrado, Jr., Meghan, Maria, Emma, and Stephen, 1 great grandson: Zachary, her former daughter in law Kathy DeMarcky, many nieces and nephews and her beloved pets.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm on Sunday, March 2 at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Father David Pekola officiating. Cremation was private.
