Dear Family, Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves a memory no one can steal. This was written on a tombstone in Ireland. We are all hurting right now and I believe this saying is so true. The heartache may never go away but we will always have the memories that were made. May you rest in Peace Uncle Ernie with your Mom, Dad and Brothers. You were loved very much and will be missed dearly and now our family has another angel to watch over us. Love Debbie, Larry, Rie, Day & Ari

Dear Family and Friends, I am sorry that I will not be able to make the trip up from Florida for Ernie's service on Monday. I know that his spirit is no longer limited to Hackettstown, New Jersey and can be felt by all in the memories of him we share. Growing up Ernie and I shared many good times. There was the Boy Scouts, ice skating down at the ball field and swimming and crabbing in the Hudson River. I also remember Ernie's wedding to Nancy when I drove around Edgewater with a keg of beer in my trunk looking for a place to continue the party and so many other family events to numerous to mention. But most of all I will remember my cousin as the Big Brother I never had. My God keep you close to Him forever Amen. George and Joy Hambel
