 Annelies Long, age 95, of Richmond, VA died peacefully Monday, August 12, 2019.  She was born August 1, 1924 in Union, NJ to the late John and Helen (Weiss) Rohm. 

Ann, as she liked to be called, was a school secretary at Arthur B. Stanlick Elementary School, Jefferson Twp., NJ and Morris Knolls High School, Dover, NJ.  She cherished being surrounded by her loving family and friends.  She was a talented pianist, loved to dance with her husband, Patrick Long, was an avid reader and enjoyed solving crossword puzzles. Most of all, she relished having fun and laughing with others.

"The sparkle, the sass, the bravery, the love and that Nanny magic are in a better place now. She is so loved."

Ann is survived by her two cherished daughters, Lynn Riche and husband Robert, Helen Stiles and husband Robert, four grandchildren, Jennifer Van Horn and husband James, Jr., Michelle Riche, Alexander Stiles and wife Katherine, Courtney Sowers and husband Christian, three great grandchildren, James Van Horn III, Annelies Van Horn, and Jameson Stiles.  

A family graveside service, followed by burial next to her husband Pat, will be held 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Pequest Union Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Great Meadows, NJ.
