Mr. Bulford was one of the kindest men I ever knew. He was a dear person to all of us students, and was my first maintenance supervisor in 1994. His memory stands on the campus at Bulford Hall, and is in our hearts always.

Hi Barbara, I send my sympathy, prayers and hugs your way. Your dad was my teacher from my sophomore year of academy until my senior year (1972-1975). He was a phenomenal teacher who loved God, teaching and his students. Every time I came back for an alumni weekend, he remembered me and wanted to know what I was doing. My mom said that he was one of the few faculty that talked to her when she would come up to visit and he was just a personable, Christian man. When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be! Can't wait.

Barbara, I am very truly sorry of your dad's passing. Mr. B was one of my very fav teachers. The few times I revisited GSA after gradation 1974 I always made a point of finding your dad. Where..always found him in the Gym sitting there outside the classroom grading papers or doing some form of school work. He was so dedicated but more importantly, he truly cared, loved each of us and so enjoyed it. Which I believe is why he was and always w/be so endearing to us..his quick wit, laugh and this warm engaging smile...that chuckle:) He'd greet me with "hello little Ms. Carol"...)) He was a Teacher's Teacher:))
He love your mom, you and Priscilla so deeply and so proud:) You are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you can come to the reunion in honor of your dad in March 2015. With Love, Carol Mott Crook

Barb,
So sorry to hear of Uncle Bill. He was my favorite Uncle. Do you remember when we were little how he would take us out in the woods and show us different type of trees. I can remember when he made me a telegraph out of a coffee can and it would even make noises. He was such a wonderful compassionate guy.
Love,
Pop
