Robert was the husband of dear friend and former mives; Cynthia Schustereit and Kim Young. Son of Richard E.A. (and wife Leta) Mendelsohn and Laura (and husband Howard Eugene) Thompson.

Mendelsohn, East Bangor, PA; Christopher Mendelsohn, Bangor, PA., 2 Daughters: Katherine M. and her husband Frederick Ainsworth, Saylorsburg, PA; Cassandra H. Mendensohn, Bangor, PA., 7 Brothers, 1 Sister, 18 Grandchildren, Many Nieces and Nephews., Father- Richard E.A. and his wife Leta Mendelsohn. Mother: Laura and her husband Howard Eugene Thompson.

Robert was a Fabricator with Lazy Man Grills, Belvidere, NJ for 10 years, previously employed at M & M Mars, Hackettstown NJ, 07840 for 19 years.

Robert Proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Member of the American Legion Belvidere Post No. 131, Belvidere, NJ; former member of the American Legion in Bangor, PA; former member of the V.F.W; he was an avid fisherman and hunter.
