Shirley A. Miller, 75, ofGreat Meadows, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Hackettstown, NJ. with her family by her side. Born in Stroudsburg, PA. to the late Russell E Eilber, Sr. and Josephine (Sebring) Mannix. She was married to Richard "Digger" Miller, her husband of 58 years.

Shirley lived in Warren County since 1975 coming from Stroudsburg, PA.  She and her husband were the owner/operators of
Pequest Granite in Great Meadows, NJ. She was a life member and former Treasurer of the Independence First Aid Squad, Great Meadows, N.J..  Shirley was also retired school bus driver after 45 years of service; her final 25 years were with the Liberty Twp. Board of Education.

She is survived by her husband, Richard "Digger" Miller at home; Two Daughters, Linda and Husband Mark Krsulic of Hackettstown, N.J., Lucinda and husband William Deitman of LaGrange, GA., and a Son Michael and wife Dorothy Miller, Hackettstown, N.J., Two brothers, Dalton Serfass, Newport, PA and Russer Eilber Jr., Moneta, VA; Three grandchildren, Erica Miller, Austin, TX., Jessica and Matthew Kolba, Mt. Bethel, PA. and two Great Grandchildren; She predeceased by a son and daughter in law, Barry Miller Sr. & his wife Susan (Rauchenberger) Miller (2007) and a grandson, Barry Miller, Jr. (2010)

Memorial Services will be held graveside at Pequest Union Cemetery, 30 Cemetery Rd., Great Meadows, N.J on Saturday, August 17, 2013 At 11:00am with luncheon to follow at the Independence First Aid Squad, 3 Regina Lane, Great Meadows, N.J.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Independence First Aid  Squad, PO Box 137, Great Meadows, NJ 07838.

We are so very sorry to hear of Shirleys passing She was a GREAt woman and impressed alot of young people that she carried on her bus for all of those years. She made alot of freinds throughout the yearswho will miss her BEAUTIFUL smile and her just being herself. May GOD bless her and your whole family

Linda: I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I know she put up a good fight. You did all you could do at this time. May the strength of your family help you through the weeks to follow.
