Joseph C. Kelly, Sr., age 78, of Hackettstown since 1978, died Monday, September 29, 2014 at his son’s home in Stanhope, NJ.  Mr. Kelly was born March 24, 1936 in Denville, NJ. He is the son of the late John and Elizabeth (Zeek) Kelly. 

Joe was employed by Picatinny Arsenal, Picatinny, NJ as a Computer Programmer/Systems Analyst retiring after 35 years of service.  He graduated from Morris Hill High School Class of 1955.  Joe enjoyed riding his Harley, working on cars, bikes and trucks. In his younger years Joe was an avid fisherman. 

He is survived by his son; Joseph C. Kelly Jr. and his 3 grandsons:  Jack, Joseph and Wyatt.

Funeral visitation will be held from 1-4 pm with services at 4 pm on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Rev. Joe McCarthy officiating.  Cremation was private.
