Jeanne E. Bansch, age 57, of Schooley’s Mountain, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at St. Clares Hospital of Dover, NJ. Jeanne was born July 19, 1955 in Denville, NJ. to Marilyn G. (Yeager) Fischer and the late Nicholas R. Fischer. Jeanne lived on Schooley’s Mountain for the past 37 years, previously residing in her hometown of Rockaway Township, NJ. She was a parishioner of St. Mark’s R.C. Church, Long Valley, NJ for 12 years where she actively taught religious education to the kindergartners. Prior to that, she was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Mountain R.C. Church for 23 years where she taught religious education to several grade levels, including Confirmation Preparation.
She was employed by KinderCare of Mt. Olive for 10 years. Prior to KinderCare, she was a child care provider at her home.
She was a graduate of Morris Knolls High School and received her Associate of Arts degree from County College of Morris in 1975, majoring in English with a minor in Psychology. Her proudest roles in life were being both a wife and mother.
Jeanne is survived by her husband of 37 years, Wayne D. Bansch at home; 3 sons, Matt Bansch and his wife, Cara of Hackensack, NJ; Greg Bansch and his wife, Becky of Denville, NJ and Andy Bansch at home; her mother, Marilyn Fischer of Rockaway Township, NJ; 2 brothers, Gary Fischer of Frenchtown, NJ and Brian Fischer and his wife Jean of Rockaway Township, NJ; 1 niece, Allison Fischer and 1 nephew, Nicholas Fischer.
A memorial Mass will be held 10:00 am on Monday, October 1, 2012 at St. Marks Parish, 59 Spring Lane, Long Valley, NJ. Interment is private.
