 Tiburcio Jesus Ramón Alpizar, age 88, of Belvidere formerly of Hackettstown, NJ died Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at home.  Tiburcio was born May 15, 1927 in Cuba. He is the son of the late Raymond and Isabel (Garcia) Alpizar.  He is preceded in death by his beloved wife; Aurelia Alpizar in 2005, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. 

 He was employed by Borealis Compounds in Port Murray, NJ.  Jesus Ramón loved watching sports especially boxing and his favorite baseball teams: the New York Yankees and the Cincinnati Reds.  He enjoyed reading the Star Ledger newspaper every day and keeping up with politics.

 He is survived by; 2 sons; Jose Alpizar and his wife Diane, Juan Alpizar and his wife Maria, 3 sisters; Victoria Guardado, Pilar Toro and husband Genao, Zoila Bermudez, 3 grandchildren; Janelyn, Jose Jr. and Hanz. 2 great grandchildren; Hanz Jr. and Hialda, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

 The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Friday, April 29 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 213 Main Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Dr. Rev. Frank Fowler officiating.  Please meet at church on Friday. Following services Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Hackettstown.

 Visitation hours will be Thursday, April 28 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm & 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.

 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 213 Main Street, Hackettstown, N.J. 07840 in memory of Jesus Ramón.
