 Catherine Sigler, age 91, of Hackettstown, NJ died Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Forest Manor Health Care Center, Hope, NJ.  Catherine was born April 29, 1928 in Montclair, NJ to the late Thomas S. and Mabel (Bolton) Morley.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Sigler, her son, Edward Sigler, her daughter, Susan Casale, her two brothers, Thomas Morley, Joseph Morley, and her two sisters, Marylou Morley and Joan DiVencenzo.

Catherine was previously employed by Hackettstown Regional Medical Center as in their Materials Management Department retiring many years ago.  Catherine was a member of the Church of the Assumption, Hackettstown, NJ, was an avid reader and enjoyed bowling. 

Catherine was a kind and loving person who welcomed everyone in her neighborhood into her home.  Upon the death of her beloved daughter she opened her life to her cherished grandchildren, she helped raise them and mold them into the wonderful people they have become.  She was a generous person, if you were in need of food, she cooked, shelter, gave a place to stay, love and understanding, she listened and did not judge.  Catherine was a blessing in this life and all who knew her will miss her.   

She is survived by her daughter, Catherine Sigler, her son, and Thomas Sigler and wife Tina, son-in-law, Robert Casale, 3 grandchildren, Catrina, Justin and Jeremy and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service and burial will be held 11:00 am on Friday, March 6, 2020 at Pequest Union Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Great Meadows, NJ.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 5, 202 from 7-9 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.

So sorry for your loss. There are a million childhood memories. We had a great childhood in our neighborhood. Your mom was definitely part of my so many memories. RIP Mrs Sigler
