Amparo Vega, age 83, of, Hackettstown died Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center of Hackettstown, N.J.. Amparo was born November 3, 1935 in the Dominican Republic. She is the daughter of the late Enrique and Lydia (Perez Hendez) Mendez.
She is survived by three daughters; Betty Silfa, Carmen Silfa and Lydia Silfa,
The funeral will be held 1:30 pm on Wednesday, August 7 at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Rev. Javier Castillo officiating. Burial will be in Hackettstown Union Cemetery, Hackettstown following the service.
