Emmanuel  Lombardo

 Emmanuel Lombardo, age 94, of Budd Lake, formerly of Hackettstown, NJ died Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Care One, Livingston, NJ.  Mr. Lombardo was born December 20, 1921 in Easton, PA. He is the son of the late Frank and Rose Lombardo.  In addition to his parents, Emanuel is preceded in death by his 8 brothers and sisters.

Emanuel served proudly in the US Army during World War II from 1945 to1946.  He was formerly employed by Town Billiards, Denville, NJ where he restored pool tables.  Emanuel loved to refurbish furniture and was a quiet, kind person who never had an unkind word to say about anyone. He was a long time Yankee's fan and always wearing his baseball cap.

He is survived by his wife: Lillian (Pierce) Lombardo, his two daughters; Cheryl Bailey and husband Douglas, Linda Whitney and husband Marc, 5 grandchildren; Jake, Josh and companion Tamara, Joe, Christopher and wife Melissa and Dina, 1 great grandchild; Isabella.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am on Thursday, August 11 at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, 4 Church Street, Netcong, NJ.  Burial will be in Stanhope Union Cemetery, Stanhope, NJ following the Mass. (Time is confirmed)

At the family’s request there will be no visitation.  All arrangements are under the direction of the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ  07840.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Selah Senior Care Center, 443 Schooley's Mountain Road, Hackettstown, NJ  07840 in memory of Emanuel.
