Maureen Ann Dougherty, age 66, of Greentown, PA died Monday, June 25, 2012 surrounded by her loving family at the home of her daughter in Catasauqua, PA. Maureen was born November 20, 1945 in Jersey City, NJ. She is the daughter of Marion (Ivory) Gorman and the late John Gorman. She is survived by her husband, Michael J. Patrick Dougherty.

Maureen was a homemaker and helped run the Central House Tavern in Hackettstown, NJ with her husband and his parents.

In addition to her husband Maureen is survived by 2 sons, Daniel of Roseto, Pa and Joel of Hope, NJ; 2 daughters, Bridget Stump of South Brunswick, NJ and Erin Beck of Catasauqua, PA; her mother Marion (Ivory) Gorman of Monroe, NJ; Sister, Karol Ann Bluhm of Monroe, NJ; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; predeceased by a son, Michael Timothy Dougherty.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am on Thursday, June 28 at Our Lady Of The Mountain Church, 2 E. Springtown Rd, Long Valley, NJ. Burial will be in Our Lady Of The Mountain Cemetery following the Mass.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 4 to 8 PM and Thursday, June 28, 2012, 9:15 AM (until time to leave for church) at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J.
