Ann R. Hillard, 61, of Hackettstown, N.J., died on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center with her loving family at her bedside. Born May 15, 1952 in Paterson, N.J., Ann was the daughter of the late William and Jean Brugaletta Peare. A longtime resident of Hackettstown, Ann had previously worked at House of the Good Shepherd Nursing facility in Hackettstown and was last employed by the Hackettstown Board of Education as a cafeteria assistant retiring many years ago. Ann was a parishioner of Saint Mary's Church of the Assumption in Hackettstown and contributed to the church as a C.C.D. Instructor years ago. In addition to caring for her devoted family, Ann loved crafting and especially needlework such as knitting & crochet. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert A. Hillard and son Robert E. Hillard at home in Hackettstown and a daughter, Danielle Hillard of Netcong, N.J.. She has one brother, William R. Peare, Jr. who resides in Florida. Lastly, Ann loved the company of her two "feline" children who will miss her dearly. Visiting hours will be on Sunday, 1-19-14 from 4 to 8pm at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. 07840. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, 12:00pm at St. Mary's Church of the Assumption, 305 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J.. Interment will be private. Ann,God put his arms around you and took away the pain. You are now in the Kingdom of Heaven soaring with the angels. Each day the sun shines I know you will be looking down at us. I will miss you sis with all my heart, I love you and one day we will be together again.
