James Mills, age 91, Hope, NJ died Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Forest Manor Health Care Ctr. of Hope, NJ. James was born May 2, 1922 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Frederick and the late Lizzie (Boothe) Mills. He was married to Phyllis Mae Hooper.
He served in the Navy during World War II from 1942 to 1946. James previously worked for UPS as an Office Manager.
He is survived by his wife: Phyllis Mae (Hooper) Mills, 1 son; William Mills and wife Debra, 2 daughters; Caro Kott and husband Paul, Barbara Mills and companion Margaret McCann.
The funeral service will be held 12:00 pm on Saturday, December 28 at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Rev Robert Mayer officiating. Burial will be in Hackettstown Union Cemetery, Hackettstown following services.
Calling hours will be Saturday, December 28 from 10:00 am - 12:00 Noon at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.
