Mary Rose Dubulis Moye, 86, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2012 at Warren Haven Nursing Home in Oxford, New Jersey. The devoted mother of two sons, Kenneth H. (Suzen) Moye of Hardwick; and James R. Moye of Andover; four loving grandchildren Mark A. Matyas Moye of Nutley; Gary C. (Jennifer) Moye of Frelinghuysen; Melissa Moye and Shannon Moye, both of Tranquility; and two dear great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Caitlyn Moye of Frelinghuysen and a sister, Carol Cutler of Milltown and several nephews, nieces and cousins. She was predeceased by her former husbands, Henry Solinski and James J. Moye; parents, Alberta (nee Soroka) Ambrose and Joseph Dubulis; and step-father Frank C. Ambrose; siblings, Robert Dubulis; Helen Szymd; Charles Dubulis; and Alberta Duffy.
Born on May 18, 1926 in Portage, Pennsylvania, Mary and her family relocated to Newark, New Jersey where she first married Henry Solinski and spent her early adult life in Ironbound Newark. She worked at the A&P Bakery and then as a Bookkeeper for Marriott Food Services in Newark. She later married James Moye. She resided in Plainfield and Toms River until relocating to Hackettstown in 1997.
We will cherish her memory, mourn her passing, and celebrate her life at a viewing at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, New Jersey 07840 (908) 852-3361 on Sunday, December 2 from 3-7 pm. At 4:30 pm (during the viewing time) Reverend Frank Fowler of Trinity United Methodist Church will lead a brief prayer service. On Monday at 10 am there will be a Christian Burial Service from Cochran Funeral Home led by Monsignor Francis Seymour of St. Cecelia’s R.C. Church, Kearny, NJ. Interment is at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Warren Haven Nursing Home, One East Wing, 350 Oxford Road, Oxford, New Jersey 07853 – Attention Laura Decker.
