William Leonard, age 76, of Hackettstown formerly of Bloomfield, NJ died Monday, April 20, 2015 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. William was born November 16, 1938 in Newark, NJ. He is the son of the late William and Helen (Macko) Leonard. He was the Owner/Operator of East Coast Lift Service, Bloomfield, NJ. William was a past member of the International Association of Machinists and enjoyed restoring antique cars. Most of all he loved family get togethers and spending time with his adoring grandchildren. He is survived by his wife; Elaine (Passerella) Leonard, his son; Mark and his wife Angela, his daughter; Elise Bedder and her husband Arthur, 1 brother; Donald and his wife Barbara and 2 grandchildren; Bianca and Nicholas Leonard. The funeral will be held 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Rev. Abuchi Nwosu officiating. Cremation is private. Calling hours will be Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. 07840. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association of NJ, Affiliate Memorials Program, 2550 Route 1, New Brunswick, NJ 08902-4301 in memory of William.

"My Heart"...Goes out to Elaine and the kid's !!!... A 'good'husband and Father,with all the qualities of a Gentleman. Although we didn't get together as much, as the years flew bye,we ALWAYS had a great time when we did...a few cold ones,and lots-of-laughs.!!!
