Robert J. Marino, age 72, of Hackettstown died Sunday, January 21, 2018 at home. Robert was born August 1, 1945 in Bronx, NY. He is the son of the late Joseph and Alice (Schemmer) Marino. He married Diane Abbruscato. Robert proudly served in the Marine Corps during the the Vietnam war from 1964 to 1965. He was a retired Tractor Trailer Driver and also worked in Iraq during the Iraq War transporting equipment and supplies to the military. Robert is survived by his wife: Diane (Abbruscato) Marino , two sons: Richard Rumbello and Robert Marino, one daughter: Michelle Jones, three beautiful grandchildren: Trevor, Anthony and Shawn.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Friday, January 26 at St. Mary's, Church of the Assumption, 302 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Father Antony Arockiadoss officiating. Family and friends can meet at the Cochran Funeral home Friday, January 26, 2018 at 10:00 am and follow to the Church. Calling hours will be Thursday, January 25 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J..
